This year LPC Construction Ltd is celebrating the milestone of twenty-five years in business, our Silver Jubilee. The company has achieved a great deal over the past quarter of a century, having been founded as Leneghan & Sons in 1997, by our Operations Director, Patrick Leneghan. Patrick’s initial aim was to provide reliable civil engineering services to the telecoms industry, then Neil Coates came on board in 2002, quickly establishing a strong presence in the water industry by providing ground works and other services to Thames Water. Neil became Managing Director and along with Patrick they are both still a hands-on presence in the company today.
Over the next few years LPC built up the business via appointments with other multi utility contractors such as McNicholas plc (Skanska), Pirelli (Prysmian), Morrison Construction and McNicholas Construction. This enabled the directors’ vision to drive the company forward, and, having accumulated further expertise and technology, were able to provide turn-key telecoms and high voltage power projects, providing services to major utilities companies such as UK Power Networks and Scottish and Southern Energy. We are proud to have achieved full accreditations from industry regulated organisations, enabling us to offer a safe and reliable service.
Our longevity in the construction industry means we have played an active role in utilities; overcoming and adapting to the many changes which have marked the trade over the last two and a half decades. We are therefore extremely proud to be celebrating our Silver Jubilee in 2022, which coincides with an end to the need for coronavirus lockdown measures, enabling our return to safe, unrestrained, and full operation.
We would like to thank all of our employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers for their continued high-quality work over the years, and we will carry on delivering the first-rate service to our clients which has gotten us where we are today. We could not be more grateful for their trust and support and, with any luck, we look forward to many more fruitful years of fair and profitable business for us and our partners.
