The Contract
LPC were required to work for UK Power Network Services on behalf of the MOD under a multi utility joint venture (MUJV) project funded initiative (PFI). This included electricity network overlay, upgrade and maintenance on Project Allenby. The contract value was £20m over a duration 8 years.

The Assignment
Throughout the project, LPC were responsible for:

• HV, LV, EV and Street Lighting schemes
• Overlays
• Substation refits and faults at MOD sites across the South of England.
• Provision of project management services, civils, cabling, formwork and reinstatement functions.

The Delivery
LPC successfully worked to tight timescales in accordance with stringent security measures. This was often on sites with military ordnance risks and included working airside. We also stringently worked under monitoring from archaeology and ecology authorities.

The Result
Our work was consistently delivered within a high security MOD environment to exacting timelines and programmes. This included our team carefully fitting around critical air and military movements. We are proud to work on projects such as this which often present specific challenges, namely where FOD, ordnance, ecology and archaeology must take precedence.
